The Joint - Stock Company Banca de Economii (Banca de Economii S.A.), with the headquarters in Chisinau, 115 Columna str., notifies its shareholders that the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders has been called in accordance with the resolution of the Board of Directors dated January 22, 2013.

The Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of Banca de Economii S.A. will be held on March 1, 2013 at: Chisinau, 31 August 1989 str., nr. 129, Conference Hall of the General Federation Unions.

The Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders will be held in shareholders presence.

Registration of the shareholders – between 09:30 and 10:45

Beginning of the Meeting – at 11:00

Agenda:

1. Examination of resignation of two members of the Board of Directors.
2. Early termination of the Board of Directors and its reserve powers.
3. New members’ election of the Board of Directors and its reserve.

The list of shareholders entitled to participate at the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting of Banca de Economii S.A. is framed on January 29, 2013. Changes in the shareholders list will be made in accordance with legislation in force.

For taking part in the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting of the Bank the participants should present the valid identification document (passport), while the representatives of shareholders should present the document proving their empowerments (the power of attorney or extract from the State Register issued by the competent body authorized to register legal entities).

Shareholders may get acquainted with the materials on the issues on the agenda of the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting starting with February 19, 2013, daily during working hours (09:00 – 17:00), with the exception of the days-off at the Central Headquarters of the Bank: Chisinau, 115 Columna str.

In compliance with the Law on Joint-Stock Companies No. 1134-XIII dated April 2, 1997 (article 29 p.1 subps. a), Banca de Economii S.A. reminds its shareholders about necessity of their data updating at the Independent Registrar of Banca de Economii S.A.
