European Fund of the Southern-Eastern Europe (EFSE) officially starts the work in Moldova for financing small and medium enterprises, farmers and families.

The solemn ceremony on June 22 will be attended the president of the national bank of Moldova Leonid Talmachi, the minister of the finance Mikhail Pop, the representatives of the Ministry of economy and trade, the embassy of Germany in Moldova, the delegation of European commission, international organizations, countries-donors as well as financial institutions of Moldova. The experience of collaboration with EFSE will be described by the president of “Moldova-Agroindbank” Natalie Vrabie, the vice-president of “Mobiasbank” Sergey Cartasev, the executive director of Microinvest Arthur Munteanu. It is planned that in the end of the ceremony the loan agreement between EFSE and “Banca Sociala” will be signed. EFSE was founded in December 2005 by the initiatives of donors on the basis of existing assets. EFSE ointments to provide 145 thousand of loans to small and medium enterprises, peasant households, 36 thousand of loans to the families for improving living conditions and to participate in creation of 36 thousand of working places. For achievement of these targets the fund will provide long-term assets to qualified loan institutions. The funds can be provided as loans or structural financing.
