ON APRIL, 3, THE III-D SESSION OF MOLDOVAN-SWISS COMMISSION ON TRADE AND ECONOMIC COOPERATION WILL BE HELD IN CHISINAU.

It is planned to discuss questions of attraction investments to Moldova, bilateral goods’ turnover as well as technical assistance of Switzerland to Moldova. Moldova will be represented by the Minister of Economy and trade Igor Dodon and Swiss side- by the ambassador, member of the administrative board of secretary on economic affairs of Switzerland Monika Ruhl Burzi. In 2006, volume of export of Moldavian goods to Switzerland made $14,2 million, having increased at 91,8%, as compared to the last year. This growth has been stipulated by the increase of deliveries of plant-growing production, textiles and food stuffs. The volume of import from Switzerland has made $17,2 million, having increased at 21,1 %. Import mostly consisted of electric equipment, production of chemical industry, wood processing industry, paper, cardboard etc.|
