IN 2007 MOLDAVIAN EXPERTS FORECASTS GROWTH OF EXPORT TO EU COUNTRIES UP TO 40%

The representative of Expert Grup Iurii Gotisan announced this on Wednesday in time of presentation of the 5-th edition of Euromonitor report. According to his words, Moldavian export to EU sufficiently increased at the accounting period –at 11,2% as compared with the same period of 2005, reaching 34% of total export amount. According to expert’s opinion, growth was achieved due to aggressive marketing of Moldavian producers as well as by active actions of Moldavian powers and diplomats abroad. Iurii Gotisan also noted that considerable part of Moldavian export consists of food products and alcohol drinks. He expressed regret that advantages of commercial preferences with EU GSP plus were not fully used in 2006. According to his opinion, Moldova will be able to benefit from GSP plus in 2007 in case if quality of Moldavian production as well as Moldavian goods’ promotion abroad is improved.
