Commercial banks of Moldova are not shocked by the fact that winemaking companies credited by them don’t export their production in Russia
Such opinion was expressed by the president of NBM Leonid Talmaci at the working meeting with the president of the country Vladimir Voronin which he held with the directors o0f the commercial banks and representatives of the government. Situation at the b banking sector of Moldova, consequence of the Russian embargo, srtrategical actions for the support and development of wine makery with the help of the financial-banking mechanisms. The head of NBM told that the percentage of the credits provided to the wine making enterprises constitute only 8 % from the assets of the commercial banks or only 14% from the total volume of the credits provided. According to the words of the president of NBM the distribution of these credits ifs optimal: 20% is aimed art the production development; 80% will be aimed at the operation means. The presidents of the banks presented at the meeting confirmed that the situation in the sector is under control. At the same time they noted that it is necessary to start intensive individual work with the enterprises in order to elaborate the strategy of their development and bank’s support of winemaking industry. Vladimir Voronin recommended to the representatives of the government, the directors of wine making enterprises, and presidents of the commercial banks to hold a number of individual bilateral meetings with the participation of the shareholders of the banks in order to elaborate the priorities and set the positions for future.
