AS OF FEBRUARY 20, THE AMOUNT OF THE RESOURCES, COLLECTED WITHIN THE FRAMES OF THE CAMPAIGN ON THE REVIVAL OF THE CURCHI MONASTERY EXCEEDED 2.577 MILLION MDL (ABOUT $200 THOUSAND)

According to the Parliamentary press service, 1.125 million MDL out of this amount were transferred by the economic entities, more than 94 thousand MDL were collected in the very Curchi monastery and about 864 thousand MDL were transferred by the physical persons to the point on accepting the offerings in the building of the «Teleradio-Moldova». According to RM Parliament Speaker Marian Lupu, who patronizes the campaign, the selection of a building company for the implementation of the restoration works to be started this April will be carried out under the conditions of the maximal transparency. The Speaker has also noted that no budget resources will be allocated for the reconstruction of the monastery.
